Youth Group Paddle

This is an excellent opportunity to learn the basics of Paddleboarding and have a lot of safe, silly fun on the river with your friends.

For Scouts, Cubs and Explorers from the age of 8 – 18.

Each session will have a safety briefing and a 5-minute river bank lesson. Once everyone is in the river, we teach the basic paddle strokes and head off for a paddle up the river. Once the basics have been mastered, the fun begins—with challenges and silly games – before returning to the jetty.

All equipment is provided, but please bring shoes to wear on the board, a spare change of clothes and a towel, as it is highly likely (almost guaranteed) that you will get wet.

We meet and return to the Launch Point Jetty next to Batheaston Car Park
